Crawford Doodles is a business about families. We work together as one to make yours a little happier.
Our goal as breeders is to provide companions for you that are healthy, smart and trainable, well behaved and someone you will love for the rest of their life.
Whitley
If you are communicating with someone at Crawford Doodles, it’s probably Whitley. She also manages the social media and website in addition to sales.
Nick and Whitley have been married for 10 years. She considers herself very blessed to have married into such an amazing family.
Nick
Nick is our hands on Puppy Dad. He helps deliver and raise our puppies, ensuring they are healthy, loved and well socialized.
He is Brenda and Roger’s youngest son and according to his siblings, he was “raised by the dogs.”
Brenda and Roger
Brenda and Roger started Crawford Doodles over 10 years ago. After having poodles and many other breeds of dogs, they got a couple of labradoodles and fell in love. They did lots of research and learned that the best doodles are the ones who have been doodles for many generations. As they built our legacy, they included Nick and his siblings as guardian homes and recently shifted the business into our care so they can spend their days camping with their retired dogs.

Why does it matter?
If two brunette people have a baby, chances are that baby will be brunette. This is especially true if all four grandparents were also brunette. The more you keep consistent traits in a gene pool, the more confident you can be in the outcome of the offspring.
When you breed a labrador to a poodle, from the same litter, you can have a puppy that is 90% lab and 10% poodle (this dog will still shed and cause allergies) and one that is 80% poodle and 20% lab (this dog will not shed or cause allergies). But if you meticulously choose the right puppy from the litter and breed it to another labradoodle with the traits you are looking for, you can start to lock in the desirable genetic features.
At Crawford Doodles, we choose breeders that will ensure pets with long healthy lives as well as coats that are non-shedding and hypoallergenic. In a decade of breeding, we have yet to have a customer be allergic to one of our dogs!
